1971 Jaguar XKE Series ll 2+2: SOLD
This classic Jaguar is the consummate “Survivor car”.
The series ll changed to open headlights without glass covers in 1968. A wrap-around rear bumper, re-positioned and larger front indicators and tail lights below the bumpers were added as well. Better cooling aided by an enlarged “mouth” and twin electric fans, and uprated brakes rounded out the upgrades.
The engine is easily identified visually by the change from smooth polished cam covers to a more industrial “ribbed” appearance
This car is equipped with Jaguars famous 12 cylinder 5.3 engine an automatic transmission and air conditioning.
With only 23,089 miles the interior and exterior are in excellent condition for an unrestored car.
This is a “Driver” not a garage Queen.
