1970 Jaguar Series II E Type Roadster: SOLD

STK # P6038

The previous owner replaced the floor pans, outer sills, and trunk floor using Martin Robey parts. The work done was very professional and tidy. The wire wheels were also replaced. Specialty Sports Cars did a significant amount of work on the car prior to the trade in. I have used them over the years (such as rebuilding the front end).

New parts:
– Complete OSJI (Bartlett’s) interior including door panels, carpet, under felt, hardura, leather seats and headrests, seat cushions.
– High rev starter
– Stainless steel exhaust system (bell)
– The steering wheel and shift knob was restored by British Autowood in Florida.
– Soft top (OSJI)
– Front and rear bumpers
– New stereo
– All rubber weather-stripping
– Rebuilt carbs
– Door chrome
– Rebuilt front end
– Trunk kit
– Spin on oil filter (not installed)

The car runs smooth and strong. The oil pressure is 40 hot at idle and 55 at speed. The transmission is quiet and shifts well through the gears.

There is a chip in the windshield right near the rearview mirror that is not visible to the driver or passenger.

Body: complete rust free, original paint in burgundy, excellent chrome, razor straight lines, all original factory gaps, clean rust free hood.

Mechanic: matching numbers car, excellent running/driving, perfect working clutch and gear box, excellent brakes, everything works, no issues at all.

Interior: original black leather interior with factory carpets, black factory soft top everything very clean.
